I imagine you just have to be careful what methods you use to clean and dry the surface itself. I once tried to plastidip my badge and failed miserably, so I have banned myself from ever touching the stuff again

Saw a video from dipyourcar and apparently if you let it cure a week or so it'll be very durable, they even sprayed directly against it with a pressure washer and nothing happened. I'm thinking about doing a clear matte, looks like you can achieve those BMW frozen colors with the matte clear. (Might be easier for me to do that than DIY clear bra)

I did them on my wheels a few
Months ago. They hold up really well especially from pressure washes Just removing them can be a pain if you want a change

Dipyourcar, they have a video on virtually anything you'd want to ask and also teach you tons of techniques to do a good paint job.

I've posted this before but here's my experience with Plastidip:
I had my window trim and front grilles plasti-dipped this Summer -- huge hail storm came, and my car suffered close to $16k in hail damage. The trim itself was literally in pieces, and the Plastidip is all that was holding it together. The stuff is bulletproof (or at least grapefruit-sized hail proof).

I believe you can buy a shammy to wash your car with from dipyourcar.com
It is fairly easy to clean you jsut use water and the shammy cant, really get into anything to aggressive to clean or it'll obviously come off. A lot of my friends have dipped cars and they hold up just fine to washes |
