If you dont fix that its just another failed attempt at a true to original replica. Miro messed this up too. Only the front has the wave in the spokes. Also like Kev said they arent nearly as concave as the original.

How can they be as concave as the originals, they are made for our offsets, not M3 offsets.

We are still judging from pictures. Once we get the actual sample wheel we`ll make sure it is 100% as the OE wheel. We`ll not release the wheel if is not. The OE CSL has waves in the rear just as the front does, they are just not as pronounced.

We`ll keep you all updated on the concavity.

Dude, I'm just giving you my honest experience, if you are really into making an exact replica of the OEM wheels. I have the OEM wheels on my car and I stare at it every day so I know how the rear looks like. I can tell you the shots that you provided look nothing like mine.

A 3-6mm difference should not be translated into a flat faced wheel. OEM is ET27 and the replica is going to be ET30-33 to fit the E9X.

I know you are and we REALLY appreciate every time we receive inputs from customers. I also had OEM CSLs on my previous car and know exactly how they look. We have not received the actual wheel and cannot judge it from one shot. We are waiting for the sample for final approval. Again, we are 100% into quality and attention to detail. These wheels will not be released if they are not up to our satisfaction.

Thanks for your feedback

Correct. A 3-5mm different in offset will not affect concavity that noticeable (depending on wheel width and brake clearance). The sample shot clearly shows a decent concavity, we just have to determine if it is same as OEM. If not, it`ll be redone.

While I think they look the best in terms of concavity, the rears are a little more straight spoked than in those pictures.

I will wait for more pictures of the final result to make a true judgment.

Things look good though!!!

It's where the concavity starts that makes the difference. The OEM wheels start to taper close to the edge of the rim, whereas the sample of the replica tapers further in.

From what it seems, these will be done right. I would not doubt that they become the best selling CSL's out there assuming the concavity is done right.

This is exactly what is wrong with this sample. They are concave in the middle but they do not taper from the edge of the rim, as Kev points out.

This is the same flaw that plagues the rear Miro wheel.

AluFelgen CSL vs OEM CSL:

The concavity seems on par with the OEM CSL wheel acknowledging the difference in offset. We have notified our engineers about the difference in spoke profile design (OEM is flatter) and they will make the proper changes. We`ll keep you updated when the new wheel comes out

We are determined to make this the BEST csl reps out there.

I'll be waiting for it. If you can make the one on the left look like the one on the right...I'm in for a groupbuy!

Good work incorporating the feedback. Personally I wouldn't buy it with that pronounced wave in the original rears.
