Question Help!! Cars is idling hard with fault codes p0305, p0171 and p0174!!

So I was in jersey and count find a reputable gas station so I stopped and got a Gallon of gas just to find a shell or good gas station cause I didn't trust it. So after that I found a sunoco and filled it up the rest of the way. I drove about 20 miles coming to ny at 65 on cruise control. I then saw traffic slowed down to second gear and all of a sudden all these codes popped up... I have an o2 simulator so I don't think it's the o2 sensor. Do u think it was just really bad gas or maybe the prick out in 87 and that's why it's running horribly now. I mean idle sounds like crap and at low rpms the car is shivering and shaking! Well let me know what you guys think I should do. I think I'm bout to drive about 80 miles to get the gallon I put and get a fuel tank cleaner just to run good fuel through and see what. Happens Thanks.

P code 0171 and 0174 usually trip together and usually indicate one of the following:

1) A dirty MAF...use MAF cleaner.
2) A clogged fuel filter/system....unfortunately, if this is the case, you need the filter replaced (about $240 for the part, IIRC) and sometime the whole fuel delivery system.
3) A vacuum leak after the MAF before the throttle body....check all hoses.

The codes indicate your oxygen sensor detected a lean mixture on bank 1 (0171) and 2 (0174). It could be the lower octane that tripped these codes.

P0305....Cylinder #5 is misfiring. Could just be a result of P0171 and P0174.

P0305 can be caused by the following:

1) Faulty spark plug
2) Faulty coil pack (Although I think out cars will tell us if a coil pack is faulty)
3) Clogged fuel injector
4) Faulty cats
5) Poor compression
