Usually when one guy gives another a thumbs up when cruisin it means, I like your ride. In your case it means, your ass was tight last time, lets do it again.

I feel the term "wudda pussy" is way too under used. It has so much potential.

Anyone want to make a guess what happens if we hit this debt ceiling? Should I be moving a lot of my 401k into bonds? :-(

Quite honestly, I think it will be addressed. I am not saying not doing it would be catostrophic as some have said, but not doing so would have a severely negative effect (not that I support more debt either).

If you think about it, what bonds? Bonds from the US? Maybe after when borrowing rates are higher because of more perceived risk. Corporations? The same ones that will have a more difficult time borrowing in absence of increasing or eliminating the debt ceiling?

I'd say if anything - money market for now. But I honestly think the situation will have to be resolved.

I saw this classic Porsche yesterday being transported on a flatbad on my way home, and I didn't know what kind it was. At first glance approaching it from behind, it looked an old VW beetle.

Not FOR me, I have an IRA administration company, can invest the funds at over 15% per year and once the roth is mature you can withdraw everything, including earnings, income tax free. But you do have to pay tax on the amount you convert to a roth up front, but to me it's worth it.

I don't think he has separated employment so it would only be his contributions that maybe could be rolled over if his plan even allows that. But your point is well taken, you will have much better options in a self directed plan (reg or roth) than in your company's 401k.
