AVOID Advanced Auto Tech on Newington Rd at all Costs

I just tried to have a tire mounted there... I called a few weeks ago and got a quote, called back yesterday to make an appointment and the gentleman who answered the phone doubled the price - I called back to speak to manager and the owner, Kevin, got on the phone, he assured me that the guy, Ben (who is a scumbag), was wrong in saying that price and must have thought it was the price for mounting 4 tires, we went ahead and scheduled the appointment.

I go in to get it mounted and Ben Johnson (the scumbag) yells at me for calling his boss and tells me he will not honor the price that the owner/his boss told me. He then offers to match the BMW price (this is all again after the owner quoted me a price), I explain that he does not offer the services that BMW offers (loaner, carwash, etc) and he turns red and literally chases me out of the store.

Alas, I have no new tire mounted and want to make sure people do not fall for their bait and switch garbage.

thanks for the heads up! With a mechanic like that the owner will lose business.

really upsetting, and it's really convenient to my office. With costco only mounting tires purchased there, does anyone have any other suggestions for mounting and balancing a tire?

I am guessing you work near Saratoga? Any gas station can do it, NTB is right around the corner. As long as its a brand new tire and not a powder coated rim then you should be fine at any local shop. I once took a used tire I had laying around to get mounted and nobody in this area would touch it.
