Space grey to Frozen Grey?

I always have a project on my mind, which is a frozen grey 335i.
I have a SG e92.I felt bored with the color.
so i did some research....

http://www.bmwblog.com/2009/10/01/bm...grey-metallic/
On the site , it said the frozen grey is based on Space Grey Metallic. A special matte clear coat (FF95-0550) makes for the matte finish.
Is that possible to spray the matte clear coat (FF95-0550) over my whole car to get matte finish??
maybe buy it from BMW, then let body shop do it?

I wouldn't spray anything. Do something reversible like a clear bra that is semi opaque. There are matte clear bras available that turn any gloss finish to matte. It would get you frozen gray.

You can always do plasti-dip matte clear.

Try plastidipping it matte clear. I've been wanting to try it but haven't had the time or will to do it

I would do what others are saying and plasti-dip.

Do NOT get a frozen paint job from BMW, the maintenance and upkeep is extreme and expensive. Basically you can't correct a chip or scratch without redoing the whole panel/hood/etc.

Clear wrap is the smart thing to do.
