Hello chaps,

I'm sure this is a simple fix but I have been looking at this blank for some time.

Ignoring the figures on the spreadsheet (its just random numbers) I need C21 to show 0 if C8 is blank or 0, if C8 is not blank or 0 then it needs to show the sum of c8 minus c7

I've been playing with isblank but convinced I'm missing something simple here!!

try this as formula in C21:

=IF(ISBLANK(C8),0,C8-C7)

I don't think the above will work when the figure is 0?

This will though;

=IF(C21="",0,IF(C21=0,0,(C8-C7)))

Rather than using 2 IF statements, using OR for your conditionality would be another option
