Underbody panel torn off!

sorry for repost, but i think i posted in wrong section earlier......

While driving up my drive way, i hear this scratching sound...curious i take a peek under the car and damn....the plastic undercarriage liner is all torn up on the passenger side....my question...is this one whole piece under the car? or is it multiple plastic pieces? anyone know what part number it is, and is it easily replaceable..or do i have to de-piggy and go to the stealership.......... Damn ice on the streets.....

Sucks...I like having my undersides protected by those panels.

i have a similar issue. you might need to replace the whole skirt as well, which i still haven't gotten around to do it. it tore my jack points as well. are yours still intact?

i've been under my car a few times and its seems the covers come in pieces, everything is easily replaceable and can be done by yourself if you dont want to de-tune...

here's a diagram from realoem.com including the part numbers:http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...16&hg=51&fg=75

I would check with Tischer on prices as well as your local dealer...
