Urgent help please

Evening All,

Going to London in the morning for a possible sale of my car and just thinking about different options of getting back to Manchester.

First one is obviously train and bus but just thinking about hiring a car from there to Manchester but cant think of any rental companies which allow to drop the car off at a differnt location.

So please if you know of any then let me know asap please.

Thanks

Garage List
I thought most of the larger firms allowed this; usually from airport locations.

Most of the major company's will do a one-way rental.

But they will charge a premuim for it!

Enterprise can be quite cheap (relatively) but you need to phone then - you can't do it on line.

Arnold Clark car rental is usually peanuts (relatively) if you keep the car in the same country (the cost goes up from Scotland to England), but they have no dealers in London

Try Holiday Auto's - at this notice you may need to phone, but do a trial for a couple of days hence and it will give you an idea of cost. Usually Quidco have a cashback deal for these too.

iCarhire insurance is usually cheapest for excess insurance, rather than the rental company offering (again, quidco too)

For renting, try and stay away from airport pick up/drop off as these are premium locations and cost more.

Mike
