Stolen - MORR Alloy VS7 Rims

Hey guys...went downstairs to change my winter rims to my summers today. Turns out my rims and tires were stolen from my storage locker at my strata. Reported to police. They can't really do anything. Suggested I just look online if they turn up.

Appealing to any sharp eyed E90post individuals. These were MORR Alloy VS7 rims which are fairly rare rims and they are probably one of only one or two sets in all of BC. They are CSL inspired but you will see that they are very concave and have a large "lip" compared to the VS8 or other CSL inspired or CSL replica rims. There was a fairly limited production run as they were the original VS7 and not the VS8 or VS8.2 that MORR produced later on.

If you see a set of MORR Alloys VS7 for sale or floating around, please PM me. Cash reward for information leading to capture. Thanks guys.

Photos of wheels attached.

Seen a video of a bike stolen in Portland tracked down to seattle. Check different provinces and wa state for sure. If you find him I will help you with the lynching. Damn thieves.

probably long gone by now if they were stolen in late in the fall or early winter
some tips for your search
they could be painted or powder coated a different color
existing tires could have been for sale too, so look for tires that are for sale in your brand, model, sizes
or maybe someone is selling the wheels with a different brand & model installed etc
hope you catch them

Thanks for the support guys. Someone PMed me and offered to buy my wheels if I recover them. LOL. Maybe he should go talk to the guy who stole them.

I have an suspicion as who may have stolen them. Think it was someone in our building as there was no signs of forced entry into the storage locker. Will keep you guys posted.

These issues seem to be popping up here and there. Did you have any locks on them?

Called my insurance company today. Limit on spare automotive parts under my homeowner insurance is only $1000. So I only get $1000 back for what is worth about $3000 - $5000 replacement value. Sigh. Plus I lose my no claims discount. What a pain in the behind.

I asked the agent if it was possible to make an exclusion in my policy to increase the limit to cover more expensive rims. Not allowed with my insurance company. Apparently that is pretty common with a lot of homeowner policies. I would recommend everyone to review their insurance policy and the exclusions/limits. Especially if you keep expensive auto parts in your garage. You may only get $1000 back if you lose your set of rims/tires.
