I'm selling my Canon 40D for $700, 430ex ii Speedlite for $250, and BG-E2N for $150.. Everything is in mint condition, the flash unit and battery grip are basically new.. The 40D comes with a battery, neck strap, and 2GB Compact Flash Memory Card!!

I officially hate you right now. Nice dood... I have the same setup you're selling and its a superb setup (can't compete with a full frame though). Are you selling the kit lens with this? Do you have any L lenses yet?

haha, yeah this was my baby.. hate to let it go but I can't afford both lol.. Of course I have to save up a LOT of money to get the 5DMKII, which means it won't be for a while.. I'm a student so my income is slim to none... I sold all my lenses and the only L lens I ever had was the 17-40f/4L.. I was a dumbass to sell it now that I'm upgrading in the near future.. I sold it for dirt cheap too... that lucky bastard I want to get another one in the near future though, that lens was awesome..

I'm planning on getting the 24-70mm f/2.8L at the same time with the 5DMKII so yeah.... I'm gonna need to flush out some serious cash...

I feel ya man, I'm running on a student income as well. You'll like the 24-70 2.8 and I woulda suggested you sold the 17-40mm anyway cuz 24mm on a full frame sensor is actually wider than 17mm on a crop body (17mm x 1.6 crop factor is 27.2mm). Its basically the perfect focal length for a walk around lens plus you get up to 70mm instead of ending at 40mm. Grab a 70-200 F4 IS (just got mine and I love it) and maybe a 50mm prime and your bag is basically full unless you want a super wide angle or fisheye but even then I'd recommend a prime over a zoom.

Yeah, 70-200 is on my wishlist as well as the 50mm prime. I had a 50mmf/1.8 and I loved it.. Thanks dude!

grab the f/1.4... I upgraded my f/1.8 when I got the 70-200mm and it was totally worth it. No fucked up autofocus, a little faster and its also a bit bigger and doesn't feel like cheap plastic.

if you go with 50mm get f/1.2 to make your money worth. From 1.8 to 1.4, the improvement doesn't make the 3x extra cost. Unlesss you know you will be banging that thing hard everyday then f/1.8 won't last for long.

Anyhow, free up for an Canon fan!

I Sold the Flash unit but have the vertical grip and possibly the 40D for sale..
