Footwell behind driver seat soaking wet E93

Hi all,

Anyone else had this problem with their E93 ? Been a fair bit of rain lately and it's obviously getting in somewhere but I cannot find where !
Any help would be appreciated... Thanks!

Maybe between the front window and the rest passenger window sill? Seems to be the weakest sill on the e93. If not just make sure all windows are shutting up properly when the car is locked

I had a similar problem in a convertible Chevy Camaro in California. We searched and searched all around the roof area, and in the end it turned out the water was coming in from underneath the car near the wheel arch - it had nothing to do with the convertible roof!

Good luck finding the source.

Had a similar problem recently. Turned out (all I was able to find at the time) the water was leaking through the door as the weather seal was broken is a couple spots. To test if the door just open up and poor water down the window base to simulate rain and see if the water comes out from the designated hole at the front bottom of the door or some of it comes out at the side as well (there's a thread about it > http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=456600 ).

I've now found where the water is getting in and it's coming from the the seal on the roof. Water is running along seal to edge of roof and dripping about two inches in and straight down onto the carpet.
