Advice Needed: AW 335i

Bone stock - I need advice on a good black grill and feedback on the idea of getting a black vinyl on the roof.

Please help - and any pictures of either mod would really help me make my decision!

Thank you in advance!!!

+1, vinyl stick on is just simply cheesy... flame suit on.

as for the black out grill, I found it looking cool on E30s and E46s but for some reason on E90s it does not seem to make it look better or worse.. I decided to keep the chrome.

I like the black grill; it makes the car look more aggressive

Skip the roof. Black grill is great, especially matte black on a AW. Look around in the vendor section as there are many vendors who sell these. I went with The one sold at Supreme Power.

If you want the roof black but don't want vinyl, you can use black plasti dip. The plasti dip is more of a matte black so if you want it shiny you just spray polyurethane on it and it looks great. I used this stuff extensively on my JCW Mini cooper and it looks good and is extremely durable. Best part about it is that you can remove it whenever you want. Just know that if you use polyurethane on top of it, it will be substantially harder to remove...trust me!

If you want to vinyl the roof, go with gloss black. Matte black looks cheap unless you're wrapping the whole car.
