Newbie question - Can I wax my car in very cold temps?
I'd like to give my new (to me) 2006 330i a good wax job but the temperatures here in CT are in the teens. My garage seems to be about 10-12 degrees warmer and I was going to do it in there. Is there any "rules of thumb" about waxing or not waxing in cold temps? Should the wax be left on longer or shorter when applying in these cold temps?
Thanks as always for the advice and input. |

Read the directions on the wax, it will tell you the temp.
If you need to raise the temp in your (enclosed?) garage, get one of the halogen light set-ups. It will soon be toasty enough to apply the wax in your garage AND you can see that you got all the wax on/off!!! |
