[QUOTE=zltm089;13174412]

I watched that last week when it was broadcast Kev.

The Guy went absolutely ape, when he forced his way out the back of the car,but what was really shocking was the reaction of the bystanders.
Not one fecker came to help, they were too busy taking pics/videos or just watching the drama unfold!

Sad reflection of the times we live in.

Massive restraint of the bald copper to not just muller the guy.. What sentance did the guy get?

Reminds me of a joke:

Question:

How do you tell the difference between a British Police Officer, an Australian Police Officer and an American Police Officer?

Answer:

First - Lets pose the following scenario and consider the potential outcome(s):

You're on duty by yourself walking on a deserted street late at night. Suddenly, an armed man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and lunges at you. You are carrying a Glock .40, and you are an expert shot, however you have only
a split second to react before he reaches you. What do you do?

BRITISH POLICE OFFICER:

Firstly the officer must consider the man's Human Rights;

1) Does the man look poor or oppressed?
2) Is he newly arrived in this country and does not yet understand the law?
3) Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
4) Am I dressed provocatively?
5) Could I run away?
6) Could I possibly swing my gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?
7) Should I try and negotiate with him to discuss his wrong doings?
8) Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it?
9) Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society?
10) Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?
11) If I were to grab his knees and hold on, would he still want to stab and kill me?
12) If I raise my gun and he turns and runs away, do I get blamed if he falls over, knocks his head and kills himself? .
13) If I shoot and wound him, and lose the subsequent court case, does he have the opportunity to sue me, cost me my job, my credibility and the loss of my family home?

AUSTRALIAN POLICE OFFICER:

BANG!

AMERICAN POLICE OFFICER:

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! 'click'....

(Sergeant arrives at scene later and remarks: 'Nice grouping!)

Agree Ian....

But then again, if someone "helped" and used a bit of force on the fcuker, human right do gooders hug a thug brigade would scream and sue. The gangsters' bros would be after the law abiding civilian and the good guy would probably end up in court for assault etc....

Quite a fcuked up system in here....just looking at the video, the cop didn't even punch that tw*t!...kudos to him....

i think he should have been sprayed as soon as he tried getting out of the car....but it's easy for me to say this while drinking tea at my computer desk....

Luton unfortunately is not the nicest of places in the UK.

The guy was a maniac, Chris or Tim, not sure which (the injured policeman) was lucky the motorcycle key didn't go through his neck into a jugular, he would have died within minutes.

I did think the policemen dealt with it appropriately but think they minced around a bit tying to apprehend the drug dealer.

Glad all recovered from the incident.

Unbelievably the Guy got 9mths inside for that assault!
Which in reality will probably end up being 5 at a push.

They should cut his bollocks off and feed them to him with some offal, washed down with arsenic and a cyanide chaser.

It's gobsmacking the shite the Police have to go through, just for some liberal minded, out of touch and sanctimonious magistrate to give out totally innapropriate sentences, that send out completely the wrong message to the human detritus that rob the majority of the air we breath.

The country appears to be fecked as far as the judicial system is concerned, the shite of society have it easy, can do what they please with little to no consequences.

As you were

I watched it on the TV. In many ways it was a pity the cameras where there. If they hadn't been, I'm sure the copper would have given him a good knee on the back of the head and ground the scroats face into the road.

Crime v Punishment is pathetic. There's nod deterrent.

I work in IT and deal with large investigations between corporates - I would probably serve more time in prison for hacking into a company/bank than I would for stamping on someone's head and leaving them to die in a drunken brawl..

Most people who make decisions in this country are born into wealthy families and spend their time in nice private schools.. I don't have a problem with this, but they are SO FAR out of touch with reality..

Did you see this?

I dunno,

Why is everyone defending what happened? Everyone knows this is the world we live in, the guy wasn't even carrying a gun or knife or other weapon just a key and bike full of weed.

And maybe it sounds harsh but these 2 were novices straight up, I mean seriously. How could that have gone any worse? Ok maybe they are better than that and maybe they let their defense down for the camera.

But seriously?

All it showed was the coppers could easily be beaten in that scenario, they weren't able to over power him or put fear in him. They looked amateurish and started panicking and apologizing all over the place.

I mean if I was the biker id probably come out of the nick and jump straight on my bike again. I got nothing to lose and I nearly won.

What happened to all the hardcore training? and where are their night sticks? have they swapped them for CS gas now? I mean the copper basically sprayed his own partner wtf.

When will they get more powers to enforce the law better?

The video does not only highlight what the police face everyday in terms of crime, but illustrates in vivid detail how under equipped and in this particular case undertrained they are?

Scenario, Biker carries on riding down tot he road to an estate and stop at what appears to be a dead end. Coppers give chase and then find out they are surrounded by 6 maybe 7 gang members.

Game over.

In the original video, the CCTV and police footage appears to suggest that most of the crowd (with the exception of a man controlling his dog) arrive after the main scuffle.

Just sayin...

I'm 99.999999% sure that the cameraman will have been given extremely strict instructions to do precisely the opposite of that.
