Anyone else shooting flames in between shifts with jb4?

What's up everyone,the other day after I installed my new firmware on my jb4 and after been hearing a loud bang in between shifts..I opened the window to listen more closely, and noticed I'm hearing fireballs popping out of the exhaust.Has anyone have experienced this with the jb4 or new firmware??I love it by the way makes people freak out behind me.

Fireballs are usually caused by unburned fuel making its way into the exhaust system. Didn't really think this was possible due how deliberate the msd80/81 is with fuel management. Are you running methanol injection?

I have to get my friend to take a snap shot.I can hear it threw the exhaust for sure,I get a really loud bang and pop when I shift.I think it's from the added fuel,and completely catless!

my car makes a loud bang too sometimes but its not blowing flames. Have you actually seen the flame?? I know people with meth can do it on deceleration sometimes but I don't know about what you're saying if you just have a JB4 and catless exhaust.

i get loud bangs on meth too sometimes, but i'm not shooting fire.

My Vanguard used to make the LOUDIEST and CRAZIEST pop and redine shifts, it literally sounded like an explosion and scared people around me. Never got to get behind the car and see if a flame popped out though haha.

Mine is shooting flames when I shift ultra fast and when spraying meth. It always shoots flames when using NLS, especially 4th to 5th gear (catless exhaust and procede).

I should get a video of that...

The pop I get is louder and makes a more of a firecracker note with a burble at the end too.It sounds like my old evo this is the exact sound.

That sounds NOTHING like the sound my car makes, it's a loud multi staged popping and exploding sound whereas that sounded like a quiet little quick chirp.

Too bad I dont have the Vanguard on my car anymore or I'd try and record that sound, it was the most glorious thing ever.
