Hello There ... woohoo ... 11.538@118.673mph

Hi,

Long time lurker ... first time posting.

Most of the time I focus on racing against myself, but since I got so much help from reading these threads, I thought I'd share my results.

I'm super happy about my last trip to the dragstrip ... I had some pretty good results, got to meet Shiv and another 335 owner.

Here is my post on dragtimes.com (seems like the main place to record stuff).

http://www.dragtimes.com/BMW-335i-Timeslip-23492.html

Mods are on that post and it wasn't too expensive since I bought most of the stuff used.

Steve

Steve's turbos have also been on their last legs since he got the car (pre-owned). It is getting a set of ASR turbos installed now. And a rev3 with 4-nozzle PWM meth.

Four nozzles sounds like alot of flow, how much flow is each nozzle producing? Will a pump even keep up with four nozzles?

Each pair of nozzles will flow approx 850cc/min. Four should flow just under twice so around 1500cc/min. When flowing over 1600cc/min, the 1/4" meth goes going into the pump inlet will start to be a restriction. At that point, we would need to step it up a notch. I can't really see a realistic set-up where the pump itself would be the limiting factor.
