It works on n55, we read boost from the ecu because the n55 has a map sensor on the manifold that reads up to 22psi...

but if you have a piggyback tune the boost numbers will be off if you use the digital boost reading, so you need to hook the vacuum line up with a tap into your manifold... I know a few people have done it.

EGT? It's calculated in the ECU based on readings from the primary o2 sensors... I just display what the car gives me when I request EGT, no formulas in the gauge... It's just in degrees C , and I convert to degrees F in the gauge if its set to english units

Rick, thanks for posting. I just signed up for your group buy finally after wanting this for several years. Sadly I have an 07 so don't get the extended functionality, but it will be great to see what Boost I am actually running!

Where are the install guides? I remember I need to run a vacuum hose to the engine, but how does the power hook up?

Sounds good!

They are at www.p3cars.com/install , you can see the vacuum hose directions there, We are putting the final touches on the other guides, they will be up this week.

Correct, 2008+ for the canbus version -- we now sell a non-canbus version that is has boost/batt/analog inputs for meth/afr, etc... we suggest this to 2007 owners.

Rick,

is there any plans to make this work in the future for the 07 cars or are we out of luck.

I am working on a canbus tap similar to what the performance steering wheel does for 2007 cars, PT-Can tapped from the footwell module. I would need to do some testing first though... the diagnostics gateway on 2008+ makes things different as far as what things I deal with on the bus, so it might not be as simple as tapping canbus for 2007 cars.
