2K is very early to tell if these turbos are reliable, but I'm happy to hear so far you are not having any issues.
Please report back at 15K

Like others have said ...2k miles is really nothing. The majority of the failures I've seen online from the China 17t turbos are between 0-8k miles.
And like anything else, there are lots of other factors. Kids doing turbo swaps and not keeping things clean, not priming them with oil, not replacing old and nasty oil lines, pushing them with way too much boost, running them with the OTS MHD tunes, street racing with the car every single night, and a host of other things than in no way help the life of them. Hopefully they last for you.......replacing turbos is a crummy job, that's what I spent more and went with RB turbos. I didn't want to risk a set of ebay turbos failing in a year or two....and having to do the job all over again. |

Bought this exact kit and just used the lines and cooler I had to cut a lot of the middle part but nothing major I did it with a multi tool used for construction usually [IMG][/IMG] Then I just cut the line to my size and used a mishimoto oil cooler adapter with an male threads and new oil o rings which came with the adapter. Don't see temps above 230 ever even when pushing it don't have a Bms thermostat as this oil cooler is massive and will keep oil temps to cool for my liking |

haha good call !
Im following most e90s channels, but those guys keep in mind they sell stuff, everything they sell is ''AWESOME'' and won't tell you if it's shit. (they show their mistake tho, but part of showing that they are credible) Same if they buy stuff on ebay, they probably wont report, avoiding loosing their credibility. I dont say you'll have issues, I just remind to be careful with ''influencers'' that sell stuff. he also clamed to do 700whp on all stock fueling... even if in theory its feasible, I still have my doubts. |

Lots of variables....if guys prime them when they are new, if they let things come up to operating temps before the flog the engine, what boost they are pushing, how often they are changing the oil, if the PCV is operating properly....etc, etc, etc. ........
