Help Bimmers Sick!!!
So i had my 335i serviced the other day at BMW the only place i take it besides doing things myself and since then i have driven it only about 50 miles, this morning i went to go to the airport and the SES light came on and it started vibrating and having a strange almost like it was going to stall idle. i get back to my garage to switch cars and i can just smell the exhaust burning so rich almost like fuel in the air. i will pull the codes later when my friend gets back with the reader it is deff going back in the shop anyone have any insight as to what may be the matter?

More than likely it the HPFP or the injectors, at least that's where I would start.

The SES could be caused by misfires. The misfire and other symptoms could have been caused by a leaking injector. Depending on your build date, you may be covered by the injector recall. Hopefully that is it, and you will be fixed without any charges. Let us know the codes when you get them pulled and good luck!

PO303 Cylinder 3 misfire PO139 O2 sensor CKT slow response (bank 1 sensor 2) PO112C Manufacturer control fuel air metering... anyone got any suggestions? im thinking recalled injectors and HPFP might be the problem with the misfire causing bad read on o2 what do you all think? |

The coil pack will be easiest to verify/rule out. Just swap cylinder 3's coil to another cylinder (preferable something in bank 2) and see if the misfire and O2 code moves.
