So I met up with him personally to see what he has done to his car that pretty much put any other modded 335i to shame. So I asked for permission go around and check out his car and he was coo to let me do that. Okay...stock exhaust...aftermarket dp...dci...tune...stock intercooler, and meth? Everything else looked stock..nothing suspicious in his setup. I was skeptical too but after I went through to inspect the whole car, whatever he stated on this forum is legit with vbox records to back up his statements. It's frustraiting to see his pretty much stock 335i runs like a champ while my modded to the no other parts avaiable 335i runs slower than his.
I've met up with Warren more than a few times myself and concur with your above statements, I personally am very impressed with what he's done with his car and for the BMW community. It would have been fun to see his car run at the event though.

I'd love to go but car has been down for a week, can't figure out what is wrong.
If I were to drive 4 hours to run my car then I want it to be in good healthy condition. But at the moment she is sick and my honda odyseey accelerates faster than my e90

Hey Drew, can't wait to see your beast run! That is actually one of the motivating factors for me to go, even if just to spectate. And yes, you too had one of the fastest M3s even when mildly modified. And I remember you too had to deal with all these people accusing you of not disclosing hidden mods, etc. And as usual, it was the ones with the slower cars that did all the complaining, lol. Trap speeds, and 60-130s are a true measure of a cars power. So i'm sure if anyone runs record breaking numbers, there would be no reason for them not to post their results. Its pretty simple to do I would think. If you trap 130mph, you might run a 12 second qtr mile, or a 10.6 second qtr mile. Its just a matter of the launch, wheel spin, etc. But it doesn't matter, if you are trapping around 130mph your car is capable of easily running 10s with traction. And I would definitely rather have a 11.5 second 130mph trap car, than one the runs high 10s at 125mph traps.

You should post all your fault codes, and see if anyone else got those same codes after doing carbon cleaning by chance. I really think something is connected wrong, shorted out, or a wire pulled out of a connector. Focus on any wiring/connector you had to use unusual force on, etc.

Yep! I plan to take everything a part again tomorrow to see if I missed anything or if there's any loose wires. Just a thought....what if I fried my DME?
Hope that isn't the case. My trouble shoot thread is here btw http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=631139

Count me in as probable, SIKH335 talked me into it. I'd be 100% if this wasn't such a short runway

It's not a short runway, it's over a mile long, you get to accelerate up to speeds of 50mph before the 1/2 mile run even starts, and then accelerate for a full 1/2 mile with ample stopping distance, it's PLENTY of time to do a SBS comparo run, in a safe legal environment.

Well to me a 6,000 ft RWY is short, I'm used to 10,000 +. But it's still plenty of fun.

1/2 mile is plenty of distance to hit 150 (especially on a roll-on, and for those of us with speed limiters). Truth is at that speed, the next 1/2 comes up a lot quicker than you think (about 11.5 seconds for a FBO 335i with not a huge again in mph).

^ Missed ya at the track last Saturday You able to come back up to Sac anytime soon? There was no one there last Saturday, but the 335's were representing (5 of us I think and a boosted e36).

I remember hearing about a 135 , a few years ago, who did a 2 mile run and clocked a GPS speed of 183mph. Has anyone tried this recently? Just curious, sounds a little too fast to be true given our bulky aero.

6000 FT is very long... that's over a mile long. I was at an event where I only had a 1/2 mile straight and I was hitting 138-140 consistently... this should be enough to top out and more.

Unfortunately we are not allowing bikes for liability reasons, but I agree they would make cool comparisons.
