It may have helped slightly, I haven't had a good chance to test it though. Data logging will tell me better. Pretty sure my wastegates are just on the way out or something. Everything else has been replaced
Replaced mine today, e90 must have less space. I had to unfasten the vacuum canisters and the coolant overflow tank to get to the lower bolt on the front solenoid. Not a big deal though, took less than 30 minutes to replace both with new vacuum lines.

My baseline is 289/303 with procede off and current mods. I didn't have it dynoed before. Wish I had. But the car use to be a different animal. Before on a roll in 1st or 2nd I could stomp it and blow the rubber off my tires. Now the only way I can even attempt that is by dropping the clutch or when it's wet out.
Even weirder the exhaust note is different. From 1st to 2nd it almost use to sound like a badass backfire and now it is very subtle and almost sounds like the turbos are being back fed. Hard to explain the noise.

mine pops a lot more than back in the day. like coasting to a stop in gear it pops like crazy.. definitely didn't used to do that. after replacing a bunch of vac lines and the solenoids it seems to have died down a bit so that's something...

Could a bad solenoid cause this?

Mine has the gurgles too when in gear and letting off the gas. What I'm talking about when I use to shift from 1st -2nd epically...It would pop during shifting. It sounded awesome! It sounded really aggressive and had tons of power. Now it doesn't. It almost sounds restricted with a weird whoosh. Like the wastegate is slow to close.

How much and where did you get them? I might it just because. All the lines are new. And I'm just about 40k miles. Maybe it's time.

If anyone has one or two boost solenoids that are good please let me know. I'm trying to diag a 3100 + 30FE code on a JB4 that Terry at Burger has said are almost positively the solenoids or the wastegates.
