Diagnostics/Performance shop Pittsburgh area

Hey guys,

I've been dealing with some really annoying bucking/stuttering/slow boost issues. I've spent about as much time as I wanted to at the end of fall testing, troubleshooting, replacing (HP fuel pump, HP/LP fuel sensor, 6 new injectors, all new vacuum lines, and a myriad of other crap). I'm over trying to solve this myself, and want to defer to a pro.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good diagnostics/performance shop in the Pittsburgh area? I'm about half hour north of Pittsburgh. I've taken my car to Riggin before, but not sure if he does performance or just straight mechanical.

thanks!

There's a speed shop on 88 right by 51... I was actually looking to take mine there for the dyno after I get around to putting on my DPs.

I pass by Pete’s every week. They have an Audi with a snow plow on the front of it along with a nice fleet of older rides sitting around. You could also try German Motor Werks in the Strip or McB Autosport in Bridgeville. McB is BMWCCA tech shop.

Also adding to this thread I was wondering who will pass inspection around here for tint and headers?

Did you get rid of your cats? I doubt any of those muffler shops (monro, meinike, etc.) would take the time to remove the splash shield and really look hard.

No but I would like to in the future depending on how much of a hassle getting around the legality of it all is

I have been running without cats for a while now. No issues with inspection, but I'm also out in Butler country, so no emission inspection.

I've taken my 335 to Charlie @ EuroSpeed MotorWerk at the intersection of 51/88. Good guy, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced being that he works on Porsche, Ferrari, and other high end euros.

What have you had done to the 335 there if you don’t minde asking? Fairly close for me as I’m near the South Hills
