How strict is BMW on warranty repair shortly past miles?
My 2010 e90's FRM module just went bad at 128k, BMW knows there's an issue with them and extended it to 125k regardless of your original warranty.
I called corporate and they escalated my case to see if they'll do anything for me, but.... What am I realistically looking at? It's annoying as hell (key remote randomly works, car tells me my doors are open, etc). |

If you can show the issues were before expiration, they will fix it, otherwise it is at the discretion of BMWNA and the dealer. Buy your favorite SA a sandwich before you go in

I've been going to the same dealer for every service since new, so I think I'm on their good side hopefully. My original SA moved to another dealership about 60 miles away (same company, Fields) and I have a new SA.
Of course I didn't take video of it doing it before 125k |

I've always felt SA's actually have little to no say on anything, so if you think they did you a solid, it's really above their level that it happened, they delivered the good news. I talked to somebody 2 levels above the svc mgr when the dealer broke my car. All the levels below him told me to pound sand. BMWNA said the same, only much more nicely than the SA. I have a feeling this is the guy you want, he may report directly to the GM of the dealer. He has warranty admins etc. reporting to him.
