By "issues" you mean having to turn the dial 1/8th turn stronger per the install guide? Yes, that comes up often. Once properly set you won't need to change the setting though.

just to be clear...i have no issues with having to adjust the O2 sim...i was aware that might be the case when i bought it. once i get the BT tool (should be ordering shortly from you Mike)...i hope to find that the adjustment is all thats needed as opposed to me having actually screwed something up during my install.

you need to make adjustments depending on the error code that is generated. by default, the 6 o clock setting is used. to make it stronger, turn it to the 5 o clock position. to make it weaker, you would turn it to the 7 o clock position.

Mike....please correct me if i am wrong.

My software is about 6 months old. Adjusted the 02 sim to about 75%, and that worked fine for me.

Just adjust one notch at a time. This isn't that complicated. I think you are making this more difficult then it should be and confusing yourself. Whatever code you generate turn the o2 sim one notch in that direction (either stronger or weaker). If code reappears then do another notch.

You also need to clear the code after every adjustment.

You need a code scanner and you need to clear the code before making the adjustment.

Get a BT tool, if you are going to go hard on mods you require a scanner. Please stop wasting people's time.
