30BB code, but it's not the mosfets. Any ideas?

I currently have 30BB code indicating DME failure, as well as some codes for injectors 4, 5, & 6. I checked all of the mosfets and they tested fine, but I still had them replaced locally anyways just in case. I put the DME back in and I'm still having the same issue.

After I put the DME back in I also checked the relay that's in the ECU box, and it tested good, however when I start the car there is no clicking coming from it at all. I'm absolutely terrible with anything electric, but I thought relays were supposed to click? If they are maybe the relay isn't getting any power or something like that? I don't know what fuses to start checking. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

When this first started, the car started up just fine and after about 5 seconds, it started shaking badly and went into limp mode, and basically pretty much stalled out. It was just really weird because it started completely okay, and just went bad out of nowhere like 5 seconds later.

The bad injector mosfets may have degraded the ignition coils as well.

Try and replace or swap the affected injector/cylinders with working coils and go and from there.

The injector mosfets weren't bad though. All of them tested good when I checked them with the multimeter, but I still had them replaced anyways just in case. The guy who replaced them also said that they all tested good. But the 30BB code still won't clear.

There is a chance that they werent replaced properly or that the dme was damaged when changing the mosfets.

But the mosfets that were removed were still good, and I was still having the exact same issue before I replaced them. That's what is making me think it wasn't the mosfets.

There are a couple fuses in the DME box, I assume you checked those.

That's the thing, I read a couple posts about there being fuses in the DME box, but my car doesn't have any fuses in there. I even pulled the DME box all the way out just to make sure they weren't hidden under the box or something. I was hoping someone had some suggestions on another place that box may be. The car is a 2007 335i with a manual transmission.

You had the 30BB code with a bad injector ground? Where would I look for that? Sorry if that's a dumb question, I'm just terrible with electrical stuff.

just replaced my mosfets. Car runs good now. Did you delete the codes and see if the same codes pop up again? And like someone said, try switching up the coil packs to see if thats the issue. i.e. switch 1,2,3 with 4,5,6. And change the plugs on 4,5,6.

I tried clearing the codes but the 30BB won't clear. I haven't tried swapping coils around though, but I don't think that is the issue, since the 30BB is the only code it is showing and it won't clear.

try moving your coils from 4,5,6 to 1,2,3 and see if the moves with it just to get that out of the way, takes 10 min tops to do

just check all wires attached to the head. don't know exactly , the shop fixed it. just take the car to a good shop that can diagnose the whole electrical system there

having 3 coils failing on one bank is very very very unlikely

it is still possible, for something that takes little to no time to do its worth a shot. there are people who have got that code and shit all 3 coils on the bank, some have shit the injectors. something free and easy is always worth a shot.

I pulled the engine cover off last night but everything looked okay on the top of the motor to me, but I'm really not sure where to begin looking around the motor. Everything that I could see from the top looked to be okay though.

I didn't swap them around, but I did pull out the rear coils and everything looked okay with them. I got home from work pretty late yesterday and it was already getting dark so I didn't try swapping them to 1,2, & 3, but I will try it today just to rule that out, however I highly doubt it is that since I am only getting the 30BB code and nothing else.
