Yes as far as I am aware.

LOL .. Is that a Yes it's included in 48.1 ? Reason I say is I flashed mine a couple of weeks ago with 48.1 .. Wiped my Superchips map , so I know it worked.

Yes, it should be there. With correct ZB number, you can upgrade software to Alpina's.

There is Alpina's gear box going on ebay. I am not sure what gains, one would get by adding this flash + gear box of alpina.

Makkan, Any ideas what the two first errors for TEL/MULF and VIRTSG92 mean?

I have lost bluetooth functionality for a few months now. Occasionally upon starting my car, the radio will mute out for a moment. My TEL button will show for a second. I will then press the button and it will show the BT screen on the radio display for a second but then exit and then show -- on the TEL button. Any ideas?

if it were me , i'd get the ZB number of the module and try to flash the software using WinKFP to see if that brings it back to life.

Reason I say this is because I flashed my TEL/MULF module and mid flash my battery went dead ( someone kicked the cable and the clip came off my charger doh!). When I got power back on it said the same message and bluetooth was nowhere to be found.

I reflashed the module and it's back up and running ( took 2 hours to flash thou !! )

Flashed 4 cars to alpina transmission software.
If your car is running 'enhanced software for the engine' then the results are more pronounced.

Out of 4 cars, only one was stock and thats the feedback I was given.
'Car seems to change gear a lot nicer, down shits are great! Notice a better overall drive, thanks. '

Best part is that in D you know the gear in which your car is moving. And gear shifts are quicker to 6th gear even on lower speeds. I cannot expect alpina to tweak the software for the economy purposes so not sure what is the agenda behind that.

Another thing which we noticed that the car stays in D1 mode (alpina software) than D2 (standard mode) when you are sitting on traffic lights.

I looked in to flashing the Alpina software to my 320D but don't have dpf. Is there no way you can do it and then code out the dpf? I know people code them out when they remove them on newer cars...

AFAIK, there is no way. you can still code it but your car will give dpf errors.

It was nice to meet you Dave.
Loved the JB4 on your car. Its the first 335i on which I have experienced JB4 with Alpina Flash.
I must say that both worked well. Cannot comment comprehensively as I do not drive 335i.
But will wait to see your comprehensive review of pre- and post- Alpina Flash differences.
