New rims mounted....thoughts on stance?

Don't mistake 'stance' on my thread title....just seeking some thoughts on how the car sits and the fit of the wheels.

18" AG M359 8.5/9.5 on 235/40 & 265/35 Extreme DW

10mm spacer up front and 20mm in rear.

KW V3 with Vorshlag plates up front.

Rear's are out there pretty good but I'm rubbing a bit. I can reel it back in with 15mm instead of 20.

Appreciate thoughts, suggestions and feedback.

Thanks!

The rear left wheel looks like its got a big gap bit its the pitch/angle of my driveway. Normally flushed and even side to side with a tiny bit of tuck.

What size PSS are you going with for these wheels? (saw your other thread)

What is the offset of the front and rear wheels? I would guess you went with the +35 front and +33 rear 359's? So ultimately, with the 10/20mm spacers, that's like +25 front, +13 rear....?

The current tires look like they fit the wheels pretty well...doesn't seem to be any stretch. I'm anxious to see what it looks like with the PSS tires mounted, as I'm likely going with the same size wheels/tires as you.

I have 10mm spacer up front at et 33 so front is 23 et. Rear is 38 et wheel with 20mm spacer so 18 et. I think I'm going to bump it back down to a 15mm spacer for a 23 et. I'm rubbing around corners and moderate undulations.

I will definitely snap some side pics and for sure report back when I get the PSS rubber!!

Currently have my front end torn apart replacing my wheel bearings. What a bitch of a job on an xi!!! I think I'm going to do a DIY as I've been studying and researching this for a couple months. Have purchased quite a few tools, pulled it apart several times to really get an understanding.

No stretch at all. My previous rims were 8 and 9" wide. The DW's looked really tall in the rear....I am pleasantly surprised to see the extra 1/2" make a noticeable difference in the height of the wheel/tire. Looks really solid. Feels better to at speed and cornering.

Here's another shot of the new setup and a before shot with the old CSL reps. Was so tired of hyper silver and those M359's are light years better than the previous setup!!

The rear look a little pocky. Sure they won't rub with passengers on the back?

Yeah...they rub now. Going to dial back to a 15mm spacer in the rear. I can also adjust the height with my V3's.

Thanks for the props Alen!

I'm kicking around wheel/tire options...I'm going to be running the same 235/265 PSS tire combo that you are. My thoughts on wheels are 18x8.5 et20 front and 18x9.5 et22 rear. My only worry is that I'll rub with that aggressive of an offset in the rear. I can always dial it back to a +33 rear offset to play it safe...but I'd like to have the wheels sit as flush as possible with the fenders, without rubbing. I'm curious how yours will do once you change the rear spacer.

Also, I'm on stock sport suspension.

Side note- do you still have that MMW lip?

Looks very nice! I had this setup and even though you're pre-LCI I think you will have to remove the rear spacers with the PSS on. Those tires run very wide. I still rub and I'm et30 in the rear now. Maybe try a 10mm spacer in the rear.

I will be swapping the spacers in about an hour so I will report back. Rubbing like crazy now.

I have the MMW lip but it is at my body shop to be repaired/refinished. I had it redone previously and curbed it a day later. Brutal. The need my stock bumper to use to repair it and I've been so busy I've just been letting it sit there. Hopefully they still have it!!!

I may or may not sell it. I'm also open to working with someone to make a mold and do a group buy as I get PM's for it practically every day. I'd feel bad driving up the price and having to choose one person....would be cool to make a bunch and sell them to those who want em. Maybe fund s couple mods for my time/effort.

OK! Pics added. I went to 15mm spacer in the rear and I raised it up about a full turn. Rear fenders measure a smidge over 2' from the fender to the ground.

I am pretty pleased with this adjustment. I think it looks perfect.

So the +22/23 rear offset doesn't rub?

Looks good. You might even want to go 12mm or 10mm in the rear..

I'd reduce the rear spacer to 12 or 15.

+23 in rear right now and now rub at all. I have 10 up front and a spare pair of 5's. I think 15 rear (+23) is solid.

Any idea what your rear camber is at? Was it more flush with the 20mm spacer or did it poke a little?

Rear camber is -1.7

20mm was pretty poked out. 15mm spacer (+23) seems to be perfect.

Here's a daytime shot from a different angle. Pretty stoked with the overall setup.
