20" M3 wheels on my E92?

I have a guy that sold his 2008 M3 coupe and has custom 20" wheels that he wants to sell, and I want to buy for my 2008 335xi coupe.

Is there any differences to the inner fenders or any components that would prevent his wheels from fitting on my 335? Has anyone else done this?

He is about 2 hours away from me and I am just trying to prevent a wasted trip just to fit them.

Thank you!!!

Wasted trip, don't do it. The M3 has a completely different offset. Yes, the wheels have the same lug pattern and center bore, but the offset is designed for the larger fenders the M3 has and will stick way out and rub on your 335. Look at another set.

You can most likely make them work ask for the widths and offset of the wheels.

If they're aggressive on the M3, then they're too aggressive on a non-M.

So would that imply him rolling fenders to fit the 20" wheels?

Ok I'm about to save you two hours of driving, about 60.00 of gas and about another hour of you trying to make the wheels fit plus another 2 hours driving back home with the saddest face in the world. Don't do it!! It won't work, the off set on a M3 is about a 15mm to 20mm difference, it will stick out completely, fender roll won't help, stretch tires won't help. Consider your 335 is slightly different from a regular 335 as your also has all wheel drive components, plus if I'm not mistaken the factory M3 wheels are also a little wider then what your car can handle ( off set wise). Happy Sunday!!
