Is anybody interested for me to take step-by-step pictures of OEM Bluetooth DIY

OK, for the sake of being efficient, I wanna know if it's worth it for me to take pictures of every step installing the OEM Bluetooth / bmw assist (TCU module, FDZ, antenna, speaker, mic,....). If nobody is interested, then I can skip taking shots.

I am about to order the parts in, and will have them installed by next week.

7/28 Update:
Hi everyone,

I just ordered all the parts. Hopefully, I will get 'em before this weekend. Then, I would have a weekend project and can upload the DIY on here..err, well on the DIY forum!

Update 2:
Parts shipped. Looks like I have to postpone this project until next weekend!

Yep.

Until someone comes out with a better mousetrap that will be the 'best' avenue to achieve bluetooth connectivity in E90s not so equipped.

There is already a DIY with all the pictures... Sticky on top of this forum.

Also, $1000+ is a little overkill for a BT, so i went with Parrot+QuickConnect (so i can control everything from the steering wheel). Self-installed, works great, 100% OEM look and $340 plus 2 hours of work.

True...but dont you have that interface velcroed or glued somewhere? aslo, AoshichanX has inlcuded the PDF files which contain only the diagrams, but no real pictures... that's why I posted the question, to see how many people rather see the real pictures as opposed to the diargram..

Can you take a picture of where you have installed the interface unit plz!?!

There is no velcro or anything like that. everything is hidden. no wires, boxes, controllers or mics. My car is non-iDrive, and there is a plenty of space for everything needed in your center console behind A/C controls. My still has 100% OEM look. The most time consuming part was actually running the mic wire from the overhead console, down A-pillar, behind the glove compartment to behind the stereo in the center console.

Do you have the Parrot CK3000 or 3100? On Amazon, CNet, and other forums, some ppl have complained about its inferior sound quality, echoing, and other issues... Is it the same in your case? I am trying to understand, beyond the iDrive address book scroll, what other advantages the OEM has over an aftermarket product like the parrot

CK3000. No problems whatsoever. When i go 80mph people cant really hear me so i have to raise my voice,l but thats about it. Couple of people reported hearing an echo but their phones are complete junk.
I hear everyone loud and clear. Had it for about a month now...

repost within the same thread! hmmm! Anyways! he posted the PDF files. Let's just say mine would be an addendum to his. I am going to take actual pictures, and write step-by-step instructions.. nothing fancy.. but it could help some ppl here who are interested in retrofitting their car with BT
