Don't waste your money on that, you're better off buying E85 or Race Gas. NOS (or any octane booster) isn't even worth a full octane point bump

Look under "upgrades" then click "jb3 to jb4" upgrade and "flex fuel wires" are at the bottom of that list....

got it thanks,

... why would these wires help us be able to use more e85?

to use this much e85, wouldn't we need to do some conversions so our engines don't get ruined in the long run?

I'm not feeling too safe about running e85 too often on a car / engine not made for it -

that's the risk.. but there hasn't been a issue yet from either the n54 or the n55 side..

always have it on map 5. It will only change when you have different octane level than what you are using and will take a few WOT reline pulls to autotune itself.. After that it wont change unless you change to a different gas..

Why would it lag?? The whole point of Map 5/AutoTune is that the car adapts to the conditions its operating in & the mods you have installed to find the optimal tune setting. After a couple WOT pulls, the car will develop a "custom" tune for you. Obviously if you upgrade/change any of the mods installed, you'd need to reset the AutoTune feature.

The OEM turbos will always spool up between 2,500-3k RPMs, the tune + different map settings affect a lot of other variables besides boost.

I'm really gonna try to say it nicely, but people need to read what the fuck their tune does + the different features it offers the user before actually installing the fucking thing, whether it's a plug-in or flash based software.

Tredirtyfive, how do you know this? Have you done the wire conversion? I need instructions if so. My e85 wires came in today!

I've been running it for a bit as a beta-tester. Did your wires come with instructions?

The car pulls HARD after autolearn adaptions. you will not be disappointed.

so just a few WOT runs and map 5 should adjust to the mods I have on?

then when I fill 20/80 e85 (or add NOS Octane booster)I should do a few WOT runs as well for it to adapt to the fuel for that time?

thanks

i believe autolearn adapts on 3rd and 4rth gear...4500-7000rpm.
but, as a rule of thumb, anytime you mix up octanes, use e85 in
diff. percentages, etc. then you should re-adapt with WOT runs
in those ranges to get the most optimal settings.

I would start at 30% e85 and gradually to 50% (which is the most
you can try) if you want to find what works best for you.

If you care about it enough, E85, E95 + E100 can all be ordered in 55 gallon drums for market value (some even do free shipping)

Update for me... Map5 and ran it for 30 miles for the first time with 93 octane... Boost is around 15 psi where map 2 was around 16 (peak) and map5 now feels much better than map 2.
