You might try posting on e46fanatics.com, as those are e46 fitments & not e90.

Sorry, forgot to mention that these will be a great fit for the E90 with a 15mm hubcentric spacer in the rear, making the effective offset an ideal +30. Thanks.

I guess...

You would still need at least a 10mm or more spacer in front, cuz +43 is more tucked than stock. Spacers on the front are not good IMO. These are best for the e46, but hey, if anyone with an e90 wants them, go for it.

Check HERE
for a similair add with lots of hits at e46

Hi Danny, sorry but I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. The front wheels on this set are 8.5" +43, so if you do the calculations, they do not need a spacer for the front. The stock type 179 or 199 18" sport wheels are both 8" wheels and have an offset of +37, so it is the same exact offset in relation to the front fender as the 8.5" wheel because of the extra width. Thanks for the input though.

For the E90 with ZSP, the stock wheels are the following:

Front: Either 17" or 18" by 8.0 with +34
Rear: Either 17" or 18" by 8.5 with +37

Your Volks Front 19" by 8.5 with +43
Your Volks Rear 19" by 9.5 with +45

If I put your E46 rims on my car, without spacers, the following will happen:

Front: 15mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT 3mm

Rear: 21mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 5mm

And that's if the e90 has the zsp package, if not, even more of a "tuck".

You can sell them to whoever, but I know what I'm talking about, just trying to help you. Check out e46fanatics, they use that, the e90 uses more of a M3 offset.

Danny

So Danny, just to make it clear on this, are you saying that at least a 10mm spacer will be required for the front because it won't clear the strut side- or to clear the 3mm difference in relation to the front fender?

Not really for clearance issues, more of a cosmetic issue. Without the spacers in front, the front wheels will be 3mm more tucked. Not alot per say, but most aftermarket applications increase the offset, not reduce it. The E90 already suffers from HUGE wheel wells, so while the e46 offset will fit the e90, it will look pretty odd. Not to mention when you shell out green for volks or any nice rims, they should fit...fit right.

I and others here have been waiting a WHILE for the LE37T in e90 offsets. We could've went with your setup, no waiting, they were in stock last December.

Ok, got it thanks. So the conclusion is that these wheels will fit the E90 with a 15mm spacer in the rear. The fronts are almost the same offset as the E46 M3's optional OEM 19" wheels. I know the wheel wells on the E90 are not nearly as big as the M3's, which bulge out. The M3's 19s are 8.5" +41, and these Volks are 8.5" +43. So it's a 2mm difference from the M3 offsets that are commonly used on the E90.

Therefore, at the end of the day, if you don't mind a 2-3mm difference (which I doubt will even be noticeable) I have a set of brand new Volk wheels for anyone who doesn't want to wait 3-4 months for a special order.

Just for reference, here is a e90 with stock M3 rims. No spacer in front.

Danny, those are stock 18s. My previous post was about stock M3 19s. The stock M3 18s have a +47 offset and they are only 8 inches wide. These Volks will extend an EXTRA 10mm beyond the stock 18" E46 M3 wheels.

(Plus, the front wheel is turned in that picture so it's irrelevant anyway...)

I'm not trying to stop your sale or argue with you, just trying to help. You will get alot more hits at e46fanantics, thats all. Irrelevant because of turned front wheels or not, it is what it is. Sorry if it seems I'm against you buy good luck with the sale.

Also, just for reference, this is how the Volk +43 8.5" front looks like on an M3. The rear is a 10.5" wheel. (Pic taken from M3forum)

This is how a front 8.5 inch wide +30 offset that most m3's use looks like. This is also the same front fitment for the e90. "Wheeler" already has this +30 front on his car with a +45 and a 15mm spacer in ther rear.

I just looked at Wheeler's pics and I think it looks good, however it would have looked even better if he had gotten a matching set- instead of M3 fronts and E46 rears. It looks like his set has a very concave face in the front and a much flatter face in the rear. It should be the opposite. The front face should have less concavity than the rear, as it is in the standard M3 and E46 sets.

Exactly, the e46 features are flat face, due to the high offsets, so even if you space out all four corners, it won't have the lower offset "face" eventhough they sit flush with the fenders via spacers.

Here is another BMW with e90(m3) fronts and e46 rears...

Yike!

Wow, that looks horrendous. The rears look perfect but the fronts are a disaster. So I guess the moral of the story is, running spacers or not: If you want Volks, you should get a matching set!
