11 e90 xdrive - m359 18x9.5 et35 and 18x9.5 et22

I know people say use the search but I just want a straight forward answer. Anyone done anything like this set up? I want a little concave look for the rear but don't wanna worry about the whole 1% in rolling diameter you deal with xdrive on a staggered setup. Suggestions appreciated

So you are asking for opinions on a square tire setup for the wheels?

I'm waiting to locate a clean set of gunmetal 219s and do the same if that is your plan. My girlfriend wants the look vs the overall performance aspect with her non sport suspension xdrive e90 LCI. Hoping a 245 40 18 will clear out back on 9.5 et23.

You don't have a staggered setup since the width of the wheels are 9.5. Unless you plan on running staggered tires on a square wheel setup. But that would be pointless. You're gonna need some spacers. At least 5 up front and 10-12 on the rears for a conservative look

So am I right in thinking the lower offset will give me a concave look in the rear?

Yes it will. The lower offset will give it a more concave look

Yes it would be. Depending on how low you are. If you're slammed you would have to remove the front alignment pin and Max it to -1.7 degree camber. I would run 225/40 if you're slammed. I test fitted a 235/40 with the same spec wheels as you and I was slammed and they fit. But My fronts are 19x9.5 +20 right now.

The 245s don't mess with your xdrive? I'm looking into 245/40-18 front and 265/35-18 rears, but the calculator here comes up 2.6% difference on the front which as I understand it won't work?

I was 245s square so xdrive was happy. Happy staggered would be 235/265. My tires actually developed a predominant hummm at 60+ before too long. Michelin warranty covered 75% and so had them swapped out 235 square Pilot Sport AS3. 245s rubbed the fender liner in front and rear fender with people in backseat. Good Luck

The PSS does run on the wide side for a street tire but per the calculator your setup will be little over 0.5 inch less in diameter. On the front I had 8.5 et29. Sure someone with direct experience will chime in.

I wasn't planning on lowering car or running negative camber just looking for little wider and taller to fill up the xdrive front wheel gap.

Good luck.
