I just put the Eurowinter's on my stock 17" 161's. I went with 215/45R17 on all four corners. I live in Denver, CO and we've only had a few inches of snow so far this season but I was able to drive through those few inches and the tires performed pretty good. The only time they lost grip was when I hit a few patches of ice. But I think that's to be expected with performance winters. But the tires grip A LOT better under acceleration and braking than the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires that I had on last season.
As far as I can tell, these tires are worth the price ($126 at Discount Tire). I guess I'll have to see how they perform when we get some real snow fall.
