How do you guys not get tickets ? I get pulled over in Arl Hts for using stealth coating on my plates...perfectly legal mind you. Even had one cop tell me I found a way around the Law...wtf?! Why'd you pull me over then. I would get pulled over constantly in Arl Hts by these bozos if I tinted past the legal 35%.

remember a cop telling a guy at a meet that stealth sheet over plates is illegal in il, hrm.. do people get pulled over here for tints though? illegal to tint your front windows in jersey and in nyc. in jersey never heard of anyone getting pulled over but in nyc they have tint guns

I checked the Illinois codes before I bought the coating and it does not state coatings are illegal. Only covers and modifying the letters or numbers. The cop that pulled me over agreed, but he still pulled me over. I had to turn off my laser jammer

I now have a Whitesox plate that is black so they cannot tell I have a coating

Moving to the city beginning of next month. Currently on the other side of Lake Michigan. Lease on my 335d is coming due and looking to get a 5 series. Have some stuff for sale. HRE wheels and some lighting for e90 lci
