Where do you guys fill up e85 in the SF area?

Preferably in the SF/Peninsula area...

I did some quick online searches but wanted to check in to see if I may have missed any or if there were any closer ones in the area.

Thanks!

The only places I have found are in Berkeley, Redwood City and Hayward. I wish there was a public pump in San Francisco!

There seem to be a ton in the east bay. A while back I thought I read of a station not too far from west portal. May have been outdated info.

I guess I could make pit stops to Redwood City from time to time.

There is one out in the Richmond, but it's a Private Government one :\

Thanks all! I filled up with 60/40 (91/e85) for the first time and my gawd it's gonna be hard to ever go back to crappy 91 oct.

I did notice a slight decrease in gas mileage but I know part of that was due to my driving behavior.

Will there ever be an e85 station available for public use in SF?

How are you guys filling it up? How do you know how much you've put in?

The tank is about 16 gallons? So do you put like 12 gallons of 91 in and 4 of e85? 75/25?

You can get e85 in Hayward on West A Street.
There is a Valero station there.

Not quite. It's by weight, not volume.

Hopefully, that would be so much better than making trips to Redwood City. What I used to do was, buy 2 5 gallon jugs & fill those up to save me a trip or two.

I wait till the "gong" goes off at 40mi left on gas. Then around 10mi left, I go fill up.
When I do the e85 & 91 blend, I usually put the e85 first. I do in between 4-5gallons of e85.
The rest is 91.

Someone stated something earlier about the gas mileage going down, but honestly, I didn't notice a chance in fuel economy. Definitely a bit faster if you have a tune on the car, like Cobb or a JB.
