The FRM needs to know about the LED, otherwise they will flash really fast.
Don't remember exactly the code, but I'm sure I saw it somewhere.

For 2009-2010 models with FRM3 module, add +MUH2 to your Vo and code the FRM

I noticed in another thread that you have a 2007 model. The Vo code for that year is +MUEB

Sorry for noob Q's but why do you have to change the VO? I also have a 07
e90 with lci retrofit tail light. However I got all the error codes out but the turn signal leds dont all light up. Am I missing something such as coding to different voltage or something? Thanks

The answer is no. I just wanted to see Grant's response since he writes with such confidence.

I've already tested it, flashed with WinKFP using v42 files. For FRMFA just disable bulb checks.

You have FRMFA if your vehicle is pre 03/2007 build. Post 03/2007 is FRM2/NFRM.

We need a newer FRM module.

From the EAS controversy it's pretty clear we need FRM3 for +MUEB since that's what BMW requires for the official retrofit. So it's bulb check for even FRM2 let alone FRMFA.

OK thanks. That's what I thought too. I have another Q's. My turn signal has some LEDs that does not turn on. This is also happening to my buddies. I have code so no error come up. Am I missing something here? oh yeah mine is 07 E90 late 06 build. FRM of course.

I'm guessing its the voltage. My buddy has same year and similar build date and his does the same thing. only difference is mine is coded for bulb check and his is not.

Haven't had a retrofit on an FRM module.
But I have had it on an FRM2 in an E92.
VO worked hence my "confidence" since I only speak to experience.
Sorry that seems to have rubbed you the wrong way.
Not sure why a few of your posts have singled me out since I try my best to help with DIY, regardless of my vendor status.
If you would like you can PM or email me to talk.

I added +MUEH but it doesn't seem to work. i'm trying to do the factory way instead of disabling cold and warm check. Did any get this to work proper or maybe changing the voltage on it.
