Talking My new G Power 19" rims! Lots of pics!

So i finally picked my new rims up from Ian (hotcoupe) yesterday!

Firstly i want to say thanks to Ian for everything he's done for me to date. Even before this purchase he has helped me out with a variety of issues and has been really thorough and accurate in his advice. What really shocked me yesterday was his generosity. He fitted my tyres with the spacers in the cold, for which i feel really bad for now. He also gave me sooo many extras, such as a jack, wheel brace, copper grease, wire brushes, a MASSIVE bag full of detailing goodies (brushes, cloths, towels, sealant, you name it!). He also gave me silver paint to paint my rusty hubs with. I'm sure there are other bits he has included which i have missed out. I have never met anyone so generous and expecting nothing in return. Most people just want to fill their pockets. He's a legend. End of.

And thanks to Awbimmer for helping me edit the pics! My laptop is out of action

Ok that's the soppy stuff out of the way!

I gave the car a quick wash this morning, very basic, no claying or waxing yet. Going to leave that for when i have more time. Then it started raining!

I really like how the rims look. There is not one mark anywhere on any of the wheels, they look brand spanking new. I've noticed people just staring at the wheels when stuck in traffic today. I don't want to say too much more; i'd rather you guys comment

Fronts have 7mm spacers and the rears have 12mm. I think lowering would make it look even sweeter!

Hope you like them. They do look so much better in person:

They look pretty good mate. Seems like a lot of alloy around the wheel nuts... Just me? Probably

Thanks! I think its an illusion, no more alloy around the nuts than the 230s. Anyways that didn't even cross my mind when i saw them, they are simply stunning in person!

I missed it some how. Brilliant wheels and they look great on your car. They'd look even better on a black car.

Hotcoupe is defo a legend!

ah nice one mate, are they 2 piece splits? if so you could even get the centers done in like an anthracite and leave the barrel hyper silver

all in all! they look great!

p.s. that front end is screaming out "Aero Lip" lol

whats next mods planned? some black grills? rear tints?

Ian always has time for people, he's a good guy.

Is it me, or do look much bigger than 19's? I also like the look of these on your car.

Lowering the car would finish her off perfectly.

Thanks!

Not too sure if they are 2 piece, i don't think they are. I do like your idea but i really need to keep costs down! Plus i love them so will see how i get on

There's such a long list of things to do! Aero lip is definitely one of them, looks proper nice. Pricey though for a little front lip

Next mods. Well i still need to install all my audio stuff in! I guess my next mods should be black grills, boot lip and tips. I was thinking about rear tints but it comes a bit tinted from the factory, plus i like seeing the interior from outside. But then again i know dark tints would look so much better!

Thank you

I think it's an illusion somehow, maybe due to the spacers, or maybe the border pattern? I'm not really sure. What i noticed was the rear looks lowered than before, there's hardly a gap. Its just the front with the ugly gap

Cheers pal

Everyone: Forgot to mention i went from 225/35 & 255/30 Potenza RFTs (awful awful tyres) to 235/35 & 275/30 NRFTs. Ride is much better. Going to push the car today to find out how they react! Should be much better!

They look great.
Really like these wheels, nice to see something a bit different.
A small drop would set it off perfectly.

Mob!

These look great!

Definitely, stand out of the crowd compared to the usual 19"s you seen on BMW's!

Good choice!
