HID Help.

Hey

Iv just got my e92 320d msport literally 2days ago.
I want to change the front headlights and angle eyes to HID's as there brighter than LED and roughly the same prices.

My concern is heat, im looking at getting 8000k will these melt the original light housing??? and will i have to get projector headlights aswell??

Iv looked all i can find is comparisons on different HID kits.

My personal experience, HID will melt the housing regardless of color temp. It will also yellow the rings.

I just pulled mine out, bad decision to install them, just deciding between MTEC and Lux to replace stock

Decided on LUX V3.
Just woundering if i should upgrade my xenon oem bulbs for 8k so they are roughly matching the LUX.

Can you just swap the bulb from the oem 4300k to a 8k??
