E93 - Anyone getting discounts?

Been a member for a while without posting.

My e93 is due last week of March/first week of April but the dealer just won't budge on list price which is near as damn it £45k with all the options.

Be interested to hear if any UK memebers are getting discounts at all?

Thanks.

I had the same when I bought the E90 - new models command high prices it would seem.

I would be very surprised if you can get a discount on the E93 at such an early stage - unless you are a repeat customer with a long-standing relationship with the dealer. At best you may get some of the dealer fitted options thrown in.

Discounts can be obtained on new models if you import or source through an intermediary such as http://www.bmwbuyers.co.uk/new/. Check them out and enquire about the E93.

Good luck

Good Discount

First post for me..I ordered an E90 330D M sport with Dakota lemon/heated seats and Xenons on 5.1.07 for a 1 March Delivery. I researched the internet and took my best deal to the local BMW retailer in Birmingham who virtually matched the internet price but for £15 per month. The difference between their first monthly payment quote and final one was £180 per month This equated to a saving over the list price of £6480 over 3 years!! Without finance the exact discount was actually £3338. The dealer was desperate for the business and asked me to sign on the spot which was no problem with such a sharp deal. Suggest new buyers do the same. My percentage saving over the list price without finance was exactly 10%. very pleased with this figure.

We ordered a 335d M Sport E90 in January and got a very good deal. £3K off the price and £3K more than the worse trade in we were offered by another dealer. We are a long standing customer with the dealer and had to work on them a little bit but we think it's worth it.

Still, it's very unlikely that you'll get a discount off the e93 just yet. Until supply outstrips demand that is!

While it may well be the case I've seen more than enough of these sites that offer the goods and then amazingly can't get you a delivery date! It happened to a friend of mine with an e46 M3 when they first came out. Basically the delivery date was so far past launch (even though he was putting in his order early enough) he could of picked one up from the dealer without waiting.

Even more amazing was that after they'd let him down he received a torrent of calls trying to sell him a list priced car. Funny that eh?

Then again, could be legit I guess!

nope, no discount

I ordered an E93 325i two weeks ago at £33k, no discount - I put that down to (a) me being useless at these things, (b) feeling in a mellow philosophical mood at the time and thinking what is money anyway? but most of all (c) the sales person was a very cute young woman who had me wrapped around her little finger - the swine!

....oh bugger I ordered an E92 - the coupe - not an E93...what is it with these E numbers? (says a first time BMW owner to be)

Got discount!!!!

Well I managed to get some discount, thanks for all the replies.

Sent dealer the quote from Coast2Coast, which upset him a little bit!! 2 hours later I got a phone call back to say they would give me Bluetooth . OK it's only £500 but it's something.

So, for the rest of you out there make sure you try there are deals to be done. Although I suppose it helps that this is the seventh car I have bought from them and I have 2 more on order!!
