DC Metro LUX rings install thread

Well, I figure we needed to separate these two threads.

Latest and greatest is that we will be installing at FrankoQ's whenever we find a good weekend (Thank you Frank

). Kit should arrive within 3 weeks, so anytime after that should work for us.

I am also working on some other E90 lighting project of my own (been done once before, but now just perfecting it...). Ill be able to share with everyone when we meet up.

I need to borrow a floor jack and some jack stands so I can clean the mud under my car.

Ive got both and will probably bring them to the install...

LOL nah, I meant so I'm not the only one cleaning. That's not a bad idea though...if you can, why not?

On the subject of venue, I do concur, thanks to FranoQ, we have an ideal location for the first ever Lux DC Metro group install

Well, 3 weeks to go so we'll have a little bit of time to sort out the little bit of planning we have to do, with regards to refreshments, list of tools, coordination of time/schedule, appointed photographer/documenter, sourcing of venue to take pics of installed LUX rings (ala VA PMB Install meet) etc

I'll let Frank chime in on what he requires of us.... :rocks:

So aside from the LUX buyers, who else is coming to hang out etc.

We have the core install group: bavarian19, myself, thd13, FrankoQ (host), YuBimmer...I understand Dani is interested in coming along to watch. Not sure on geeslice. I am guessing, we'll see shim there as well. Maybe ase2dais?

You might. Its not finished yet, but Ive got 3 weeks to finalize... It is lighting related and not fogs... I killed myself with those fogs...

By the way DC crew, I have some mtec fogs that are brand new and are color matched to your xenons if anyone is interested... Ill even install them myself...
