Guys,

How bearable is the exhaust note from inside of the cabin? I have the
Ikon and am thinking about upgrading if the sound isn't too obtrusive.

Not intrusive at all. BMW did a good job keeping te cabin quiet.

+1. If are you actually crusing at 2.5-3K rpm, you could barely hear the sound but the moment you accelerate you can definitely hear the controlled sound of the exhaust. Obviously it's louder from the outside specially at 3.5K rpm and over.

On the highway, I like to keep it at 3.2-3.5K rpm (eg 75mph at M5). The car's very responsive at that range as well.
