Solar Solutions seems to have the lowest price

A few in this forum have mentioned a positive experience. For Suntek Carbon they quoted me $180. Vs $250 that everyone else has quoted me. Should I be weary of this place? Any have recent experience? Thanks

Trying to make the decision between Suntek or Huber Optic which will cost twice as much!

e92's are just a disaster when it comes to the rear window. Haven't found a tint shop in new england who is able to do one right.

I had mine done there and nothing but positive. Awesome job and awesome price. I don;t have a coupe so can not speak to the dot matrix issues though.

They did my Mercedes Benz E55 AMG couple years back. Turned out awesome and loved the tint.

I had my car done back in March, there are some issues now with scratches on both of the front windows (I suspect this would happen on all of them but I don't really have passengers that roll the windows down on the rears). There are some documented issues of this occurring on E9x's and it's most likely due to the second inner membrane collecting dust/dirt. I'm going to call them up to see what they can do (Higgs- still haven't done that yet lol). I've had all my past cars done there and I can still definitely vouch for their quality of work and value for what you're getting, this is more a bmw quirk.

Thanks for the replies guys. ^ A way to prevent that is to have them install felt or moleskin. Solar said felt would cost $15 per door. Well worth the $ IMO to avoid scratches.

Other shops quoted me $50 per door for felt!

Does solar solutions install HO's too? I'm looking to get my car tinted soon. I've heard some positive reviews about Sonny's in Saugus as well, though I don't know what their prices are like.

^ SS does not instal HO. They told me they only do Suntek. I would search around the NE forum. There are some reviews on TInt King, SS, and Sonny's.

Weird...... Solar used to do HO's as well. My E55 had HO 35% from them.

Thanks for the info. I'll start searching and do some calling around to see what kind of quotes/brands I get.

LOL, I hear this from you every time there is a thread like this. As far as I know, you never tried Wheel Dynamix. I don't think anyone can really do it like you want.
