And strongly agree with this one. I went from a straight 6 e92 325i (which sounded great) to my M3 and it feels like a totally different car, engine/power aside. I can understand 335i/335d owners when they say "our cars can be faster and just as good at handling and stopping and everything else that an M3 can do" there's nothing wrong with dreaming Yea I guess maybe you can tune them to be "faster" than a standard M3....who cares? what if we modded our M3's? what would they do then to be "better"? Everyone seems to want to compete with M3's.... Anyway, jokes aside....fantastic cars, very little goes wrong with them, I have saw one engine spin a conrod bearing, and a couple of other faults but generally on a whole they are very reliable and trouble free! I would avoid manual, very clunky and heavy gearbox and not a very nice clutch, DCT is an EXCELLENT gearbox, ignore the haters....it's still technically a manual anyway They aren't really THAT bad on fuel...considering..I avg about 23mpg, get around 140-160 miles from 40 quid, roughly...probably more but I just fill up when the light comes on which is still just under 1/4 of a tank. yea 500quid on tax, but im going to start putting mine away over winter.... Insurance for me was 50 quid cheaper than my 325i...work that out? cos I can't... I've been really tempted by BMW's Performance exhaust, I think it's not too loud, made out of some cool materials saving a lot of weight (like it matters that much...) and looks great. This might help your decision: P.s. get a competition pack car
