Switch GPS tracker on/off
hi all,
My delightful company has decided that all company cars will be fitted with GPS trackers. whilst we were told that they would only report on our whereabouts in working hours I have since found out that we are tracked 24/7. Whilst I seek alternate employment I was wondering how difficult it would be to find a way of manually cutting the power to the GPS unit? The unit it fitted behind the the glovebox and after it was installed all of my saved radio stations were wiped out. I'm therefore assuming its on the same circuit as the radio - would pulling the fuse out be a simple way to cut the power? Alternatively would it be difficult to wire in some sort of on/off switch? I can live with being tracked in office hours I really don't like the thought of my every movement being available for my voyeuristic boss! Cheers, JD |
