Track Tires .. Please Help

My colleague introduced me to the Toyo Motorsport club, and showed me some pretty heavily discounted tires. I was wondering if any of you run Toyo tires for track days or autocross events?
If you have any personal experience with other brands I would appreciate if you replied as well.
I will be using these exclusively for track driving so there is no need for them to be multipurpose.
I am guessing for track performance smaller would be better, so I was thinking of looking for a 17" rim, like the winter tire rims BMW sells.

Any info is welcomed, thanks in advance

I think the Toyo Proxes R1R are considered the best Toyo street class autox tires.

Also, there's a wheels and tires sub forum that you may get more accurate responses in or the motorsports sub forum.
