Rear passenger tire rubbing

Hey guys, im having a problem with my rear passenger tire rubbing on my xi. It's not lowered, no fender roll and no spacers . I have 18x9 33 offset with 275/35/18s it only rubs on the rear passenger side when going over slight bumps and some turns...other side has no problem. I just got these new tires and wheels put on this week..so I can't replace them.. help me out please and thanks in advance!

The sizing is a bit too aggressive. Unless you can get the fenders modified, you'll be looking at tires in 265/35R18 or 255/35R18 instead.

Do you know the camber specs? Seems odd that if all things are equal, you'd be rubbing on one side. Many people on here run 275s. Either adjust the camber in slightly or roll your fenders a little.

Thanks for the replies guys. I can't change the tires..so I'm gonna look into getting the fenders rolled. I'm not familiar with camber specs.. is it something with alignment?

Yes, negative camber will position the top of the wheel to tuck in a little bit. Depending on the angle, it can help with handling as well. I think factory specs go up to -1.7 in the rear. You won't need to worry about tire wear at that setting as long as your toe angle and thrust angles are on point. Any decent tire shop could help you out.

+1 a little bit more negative camber will probably fix it. One side might have more camber than the other just enough that it rubs.

i had 275/35 18X10 I with camber and still rubbed.

275 is too wide for lci e9X

i replaced them with 265/35 and got rid of the rubbing.
