Love the new Stoptec Cross-drilled setup!

LOVE the new Stoptec cross-drilled rotors from EAS! I was on the fence for a long time for the ECS Tuning GEOMET rotors and the delays there tipped me over the fence to spring for the MORE expensive Stoptec setup. I firmly believe I made the right decision, Stoptec quality is tried and true and I am extremely happy. 2 weeks into bed-in I am immediately surprised at the increase in performance (bear in mind my car is 2 years old with only 8K miles on it so my oem rotors and pads are barely used and in great nick). The stainless lines, the new stoptec street pads, super blue race fluid and the cross-drilled rotors not only look amazing but the feel is immediate. The pedal is firm, no fading, no squeaks, very minimal dust and a solid secure feel. Much improved over an already potent oem system. Thanks to Kevin @ EAS for hooking me up!

I also repainted my calipers using G2 ceramic paint color matched to BMW OEM Estoril Blue. It looks AMAZING in the sun.

Thank you! It was a huge leap of faith to do this - first of all, the paint itself was $100 bucks!!!, second of all...... it's blue.

Here's the thing, all m-sports going forward will have this config, since I am an '11 m-sport 335, I figured that I'd be able to pull it off. I encourage others to do so as long as they are indeed m-sport e9x.

One tip, I brush painted the calipers originally Black (G2) about a year ago and I swore I'd never do that again, so this time around I used a PREVAL Sprayer Kit (with 2 aerosol cans) which can be found at Home Depot for about $14 and it was a breeze! Use painters tape and newspaper and go for it! The ///M decals are purchased through a guy I found on ebay who resides in Great Britain.

woot!

The rotors are available for the rack, I think I paid $500 for all the 4 setup (on a 330, but should be same ballpark). They look great and do improve brake fade (IMO, butt-dyno).

I love the blue you have, is this straight G2 color, or did you made a mix ?

Price is different for the 335, and this is a custom color through G2.

The blue actually doesn't look bad at all although not feeling that m decal on there.

Been hearing some bad things about the stoptech rotors especially about the longevity. Let us know how they hold up.

Yeah, on second thought, you've got a good point. I generally agree that the M badges only belong on true M cars. I don't think M sport cars have any of the ///M badging anywhere, do they?

On the rotors, can you elaborate? Are you referring to drilled ones cracking after tracking? They also make cryogenically treated rotors. I wonder if they'd last longer, as per their claims.

Heard anything on the slotted ones longevity?

My 2011 335 e92 msport car came with ///m badges all over it. door sills, steering wheel, the oem wheels so... not sure why when I replaced the oem ///m wheels to the vmr vb3 (also with ///m logos) why I couldn't put them on the front calipers.

The rotors and pads have been phenomenal and I've driven them hard for a while now. ** they are fantastic **

It is your car, you can put any decal you want on the front calipers or wherever else you want

That's cool then. I just hate it when (I've seen a few non M-sport local cars with an actual M badge on their trunks) people are poseurs.
