Not gonna do quotes because it makes the post too big IMO. But a few notes:
There are plenty of Stage 2+ logs out there Themyst, clap, and I have all gone above 115 on pump. Probably many other members too. A 5.0 is a regular GT now... the next step down is the V6 |

Bmw owners reverted to magazine racing.

Full bolt on's in the mustang world doesn't mean intake, exhaust, and tune. It also includes cylinder heads (only ported heads for the 5.0 as of yet) and cams, which hasn't been developed for the N54 as of yet. There's a big aftermarket world with alot of cheap go fast goodies for the mustang. It's not unheard of for them to dip into the 11's with just intake, exhaust, tune, and drag radials...something that would normally take the N54 methanol injection.

5.0 mustang. Really? Its a Mustang with a big motor.
Different class of cars guys.. Please check http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=629530 to see how I feel about this. You can make any car "go fast" but its still in a different class. Also, Stage 2+ will walk a stock 5.0 and keep up/beat with a Intake+Tune 5.0 |

Well I had to see it to believe it, especially on our local track. A 5.0 in an ideal track would trap 113-115mph bone stock, but that isn't the case here in PBIR. My trap speed of a 114mph isn't too shabby considering I'm not FBO, but I would still like to see a FBO Cobb Stage 2+ in action. Hopefully sometime early next year when it is still cold, I'll be able to see what all the fuss is about.

Its just like comparing the GT-R The the Veyron, yes they're about the same speed but they're nothing else that is even comparable. If you go sit in a new mustang, you know its a mustang. They're is no "comfort" in them at all. They're a different class of cars. |

EDIT: Mustangs are fun to drive, especially the fast ones. But at the end of the day it's the small ergonomic things and the feel of it that prevents me from being able to own one... trust me. My GF had one and I used to have one before the BMW so I am intimately familiar with daily driving one. |

Actually you don't even know what winning races is. To actually win in a race, you have to participate in it, not just look at dyno graphs. So...when are you going to race it? |

I don't trust you in public roads. No need to explain either. So here's the final offer, let's go to PBIR sometime next week to see just how fast you really are.

I've got a Cobb coming, right now I have a little JB2 pinout installed, I assume I shouldn't try stacking these, right?
Does anybody know if the JB2 will leave codes, and if so can the Cobb clear those or am I going to have to use something else? |
