Splurge for the stage 3 for sure, I have a stage 2 mainly because the stage 3 was still in development back when I bought mine but yeah lots of guys have had to R&R their stage 2's to upgrade

Don't waste your money on a stage 2 I was getting close to the limit with 415rwk on stage 3
